Run 1:26:27 [3] 11.77 km (7:21 / km) +500m 6:03 / km
weight:64kg

Family packed off to Junior ParkRun, me - off to Ochils from Jerah track.
Lots of low mist and cloud today so struggling with compass and missing the trods for the first few hills - Big Hunt Hill to Kidlaw Hill (new to me) missed all the trods across Menstrie Moss so chose to miss Colsnaur and follow the fence line up to Blairdenon. Ate my Double Decker and headed towards Greenforet Hill where I saw a runner coming the other way - lo-and-behold Dixie! Went back up Blairdenan with him and then Mickle Corum, Glentye and back to copse at Sheriffmuir.
Muggy!

Followed by hours and hours of garden labouring. Knackered!

Orienteering 20:00 [1]

Checking the POC posts and markers were all there for the Doune Ponds POC opening event.
Great turnout - about 100 people - lots of first timers. Great sunny weather, wonderful venue, supportive community. Fab!

Road Bike 53:45 [3] 23.86 km (2:15 / km) +191m 2:10 / km

Glorious sunshine, time for the bike to come out! And Brad as a bonus. Fair to say the pace was higher than I would have done on my own :-)
Braco and back.

Run 30:00 [2]

Newton PS Running Club. Out to the woods behind Menteith View for two loops then on to the path up side of Ryland Burn for some hill up and down intervals. Cooling in the forest! Good session.

Note
(rest day)

Got a massage last night which helped but DOMS still pretty bad. Should be Ok to jog out tomorrow. Still can't get over how perfect the weekend was for mountain racing. Got called by the guys we use for Borehole servicing at work "Were you on Harris at the weekend?" he asked.
"Yes", "Oh, thought I'd ask - I ran the A." Michael Ayres..... well done that man - 7th I think..
