During TNT. Count 50%. Hot day today. Hmmm, been a lot of those recently.

Maybe thats because 2010 is going to be the hottest year on record globally. But that has nothing to do with GHGs because me and several thousands other scientists do junk science according to some. I guess basic radiation physics are all wrong then. Strange because those science laws work for all other non climate change science... but not for climate science. Bizarre. Huh! Who new? So what is to blame for the ever increasing temps? Natural? Nope we would be cooling. So what then? Arrrrr it be thee pirates fault.

Orienteering 1:25:00 [3]

GLOF prep in the DV. Leaves are falling early this year turning an already open forest into what is going to be an absolute orienteering delight come Thanksgiving weekend.

Cycling 2:30:00 [3]

Nice ride in the DV while the boyz got out to Martin's Road during SMT. Valley is looking awesome. Nice autumn smell of rotting leaves. Back still sore from Thursday's crash but a good work out.

Note

Now that we have a cap for the King of the Mountain we will need to run the 'real King of the Mountain terrain run' . Perhaps back-to-back loops of this below on a future SMT?. Each loop is 6k, 6.6% climb, 13 climbs including one HC climb. People run together and when they approach the purple dot at the bottom of the climb they run as hard as they can to the top of the hill marked with the next purple dot. Then jog together until the next climb. Points awarded as per chart at the bottom of the map.

Orienteering 20:00 [3]

New and improved Dontgetlost.ca Adventure Running Nites with PatS as host. Crap weather today so not many people out but they missed a great session complete with SI. Still feeling woozy from the AM crash I only ran the 3K butterfly loops exercise. Great exercise. Next week back to Chedoke for the Escarpment Rally.
