cycling 45:00 [1]

After following the WOC, I biked to/from Clinton.

running 50:00 [2]

Easy trail run at Clinton, with the map in my hand and taking a look at it now and then. Felt pretty good - moving slowly but felt good.

Moderately impressed that my "batting average" model got the number of "peer nations" qualifiers right.

cycling 45:00 [1]

Bike commute. I got caught in some rain on the way home. There was plenty of thunder and lightning in the distance, too.

I felt a bit off all day. Not sure what was up, but just didn't feel good.

rowing 20:00 [1]

Row, row.

cycling 45:00 [3]

Work commute. The students are gradually returning to town, so I'm seeing more strange driving.

Long work day due to long SWTF meeting.

Note

Today was a walk-to-work day.

cycling 25:00 [1]

Picked up my bike from Sunflower after work and biked home + ran an errand. It felt nice to have my bike back.

running 45:00 [2]

Ran on the trails at Clinton overlook and carried the map. There were a few times when I actually spent some time reading the map and doing some thinking. Not enough to call it O' technique, but it was fun.

This was the best I've felt running since the first day in Nuuk. I think it was also the most pleasant conditions for running since we left Iceland.

cycling 30:00 [1]

Some easy biking with Mary. Since my commuter bike is at Sunflower and my road bike is on the trainer in the basement, I was on my mtb. It felt strange. After a few minutes, I realized the seat was way too low. I think Raymond lowered the seat and I hadn't ridden the bike since he returned it.

I wrote a bit about our Iceland O' trip:

running 20:00 [2]

Warm up and jogging back to the car. I pre-cooled with my cooling vest/shirt and it felt like it helped.

I tested Mary's Burcham Park course. I began easy and gradually picked up the pace a bit as I went. I never went at a race effort, just gradually worked a little harder.
