I haven't run for about 6 or 7 weeks because my R foot was hurting just when I walked, every step. Went to my podiatrist, Dr. Aschenbrenner, a week ago Friday. Diagnosed with posterior tibial tendonitis. Two weeks of Meloxicam as an inflammatory, alternating hot and cool soak, and wear an ankle brace to not allow my R foot to roll either way. Well, the ankle brace which was general for ADULT size made my foot hurt right near the inflamed tendon. (At the medical supply place, the guy probably should have sold me a YOUTH size, if they have them). So I haven't worn the ankle brace for a few days since that was the only time my foot hurt. So I tried running today. 30 minutes instead of the usual 45. Felt fine. I have a follow-up appointment with Dr. Aschenbrenner next Friday.
