Big Foot Sprints Prologue, 16th. Consistent run with no real issues. Maybe could have gone straight to the track for 5. R achilles behaved itself.

Big Foot Sprints Chasing Start, 16th (15th overall). Started closer to the bunch behind me than the one in front, and then compounded that by taking the longer route choice left to no. 1 (-10s). But got back in touch with the group in front as the three in front all missed no. 3. Basically stayed at the back of that bunch to the finish: my solo route left to 10 didn't pay off.
So with one DNS, one huge error by KM in front and passed easily by CamWill (who was up 14 places from the first run), ended up 1 place better.
Aware of R achilles in second run, but no pain. GPS turned itself off a couple of times.

Red Hill, Mod 2. Careful because the terrain of grass and rocks was treacherous after a thunderstorm went through an hour before. Sluggish anyway.
Lost about 20s on 8 (was heading straight but strayed left) and 10s on 11 (boulder hidden under a bush)

Fitzs classic 165k. Uriarra crossing flooded, so course changed and ended up at 166.6 (23.1kmh). Stuck with the leaders until the first big hill after Cotter Reserve (at 13km, 6% for 2.6km) at which point I got spat. Note Prosseri got over that hill in the front group. Caught up by a good working group and made it with them to the small but challenging climb on the side of Mt Tennant (49km 6.6% for 0.9km). After that pretty much on my own. Took Fitzs climb easy (11kmh, 2kmh slower than last week, 10.7% for 2.52km), and saw tRicky at the top at which point he had gone about 25 mins quicker (after 88km). Didn't spend too long (8 mins) at the Rendezvous Creek turn around but did, 21 minutes, at Tharwa (105km) after I started to cramp on that Mt Tennant climb on the way back - 5.7% for 0.7km. Had a coffee and a ham-hummus roll which went down well. Also picked up some electrolyte and had no more cramps. Struggled a bit from there and was in pain, but actually handled the climb to Uriarra and the last section up from Cotter (4.4% for 2.8 and 3.3% for 1.9km) reasonably well (both 18kmh 5km splits). Wasted a minute and rode an extra 160m I didn't need at the very poorly marked and marshalled Uturn at the Brindabella Road/ Uriarra Road junction.
All up had 2 gels, the Tharwa lunch, a protein bar early, a low carb Turkish delight, a "Nut bar" and a kidsize Boost as well as about 4 bottles of water. Felt a bit queasy at the finish.
25th with a gun time of 7:42:36. Prosseri was 7th in 6:37:48, fastest was JSouthgate in 5:44:56 - just under 29kmh.
