Nervous how the ankle would hold up to an actual road ride vs a smart trainer session. Hung on at start even with being separate by cars at a roundabout. Pace was good enough to hang on for majority of ride. I even managed a stint at the front past CBH. Coming back along Safety Bay rd. The A group train went past and a couple from our group jumped on but i missed it so after John, Gloria and Dave turned off in Waikiki i had a lonely ride back to Baldivis. Ankle had had enough by the 40km mark so i was glad to get home and get off it.
