Note

Right knee puffed up during the day yesterday, so decided against running this morning. Walking was easier today, so the decision was justified.

Tomorrow’s plans got put into question when we discovered the airline had brought forward our flight by 2 hours. That combined with a landslide that has closed one of the roads meant we needed to reorganise and swap to an earlier train. Will need to see if it’s too early for a run

Right knee was stiff and not providing any drive after being bent tight getting out of the back of a mini. Still managed to do an out and back along the edge of the lake.

Wasn’t feeling great but got out the the door and headed down the hill from the hotel. On an out and back run this meant a climb back up for the final km, and a 30 seconds longer split than the first km.

The alarm went off at 6 and I nearly rolled over back to sleep. Instead headed out into the cool morning around Irvington. Pretty standard, except for the hill, which doesn’t happen around Willie.

Out early for a pre-flight run. Steady for the most part, but picked up the pace for the last part to sneak in a 4:30.
