Started too fast (start line excitement), which probably impacted the next two laps. Felt like I was going to die going in to the 3rd lap but I think this effort is supposed to feel like that. Was able to put in a bit of a sprint at the end.

An inefficient effort, keen to try again to put some lessons learned in to effect.

Lovely warm summer's day plenty of people out on the hill (Ross, Amanda, Paulius) and dry underfoot.

The last 45 mins were quite hard, obviously been a while since I ran more than 2 hours. Beginning to get some hill-feeling back in my legs but still descending slowly.
