Strength and conditioning 1:00:00 [5]

Ian passed out in the loft we're sleeping in so I had to carry him down from there and then all the way down 5 flights of stairs. I then had to drag him 2km to the hospital. It then turned out he wasn't unconscious, just really tired and is mega confused as to why he woke up in hospital covered in bruises and grazes.

p.s just kidding...just another rest day

(rest day)

hmmm okies so today was bad. i spent 3 hours waiting at the hospital to see a doctor just so i could get some antibiotics for my tonsils.
Oh and by the way, I am not going to train at all this week to make the antibiotics work faster.

then i went to see callum, he and his friend came to meran to see me :) so that was nice. BUT as we were walking over the bridge to go to the swimming pool this police car pulled up with its sirens flashing and then drove off really fast in a hurry. How odd we thought, because this was a pedestrian strip. Then we heard more sirens, and we joked to ourselves "oh maybe someone has fallen in the river" ...and then we saw a shoe...and the rest of the body, floating face down in the river, tumbling over rocks. most horrific thing ive seen. fairly sure she was dead and i think the firemen who were trying to get into the river to get her out thought so too.
Ive seen dead bodies before but not like that... it was very disturbing and i think it freaked out Callum and her friend as well.

WOMAN, 64, DROWNS TRYING TO SAVE DOG

(ANSA) - Merano, June 22 - A 64-year-old woman drowned in
a northern Italian mountain river Monday while trying to save
her dog.
The woman's body was carried several kilometres
downstream by the waters which have been swollen by melted
snow, rescue services said.
The dog, which went into the river to drink, managed to
get out safely.

thus ending one of he most bizarre days ive had in italy so far.
