orienteering 1:32:00
Shadowed Emily around glenbrook map. Nice open area with lots of rocks so we fun to run around.
orienteering 37:19
Camp champs. Not good cause I haven’t been paying attention very well this training camp to the detail around me. I guess I have been in a bit of a lazy rut due to shadowing people and maybe I am so very tired.
Anyway I over shot a whole bunch of controls reading the rocks wrong.
orienteering 1:30:00
Shadowed around Lily and Elye on the control picking and the line course. Elye is super young so I tried to stay with him so he didn’t stray too far. They both did really well.
orienteering 1:00:00
Tired and sloppy. Prologue and then chasing start. I didn’t read this map very well but I guess you do that when you are not feeling very motivated.
orienteering 1:45:00
Phew long time out but was a good session. Out at Boboyan doing a middle course in groups where someone took the lead each time and explained what they were doing. I took the SA girls out and we had a good chat at each control discussing what we were seeing and what we were doing next.
run 15:00
Warm up and No warm down ha cause dinner
orienteering 17:12 2.4 km (7:10 / km)
Buckenderra sprint relay. I was last leg and my team did ok I think.
I did the bush but really well and was in the lead from our mass start but then I lost a lot of distance on Tash and Charlotte in the long legs along the paddock. Then ballsed by the last bit with he caravan cabins and the new ones.
orienteering 55:45 6.5 km (8:35 / km)
Orienteering at Campbell park. I don’t think I have been here before so it was nice to figure out what that big ugly building was. Shadowed Emily then Rohan and then meredith. Found Joanna at the end.
Trying to get them to be a bit more confident with their running when they can’t see the feature/ attackpoibt yet.
orienteering 1:17:00
Diagonal downhill training at Isaacs ridge. We went up 4x and down 4x. It took about 10-15mins to get to the top each time and then 5 mins to get down. Good times.
I actually felt quite confident with myself in this and did plan really well and looked really carefully.
I’m having a rest week this week. I need some rest for my hammy, back and foot. No point just pushing along when things hurt.
I will get back into it hard tomorrow
run 20:00
Easy jog and stopped to pick some fruit from the orchard behind my house
