Note

Finally donated to get the bonus features for the new year.

Also got a watch upgrade: Suunto Ambit3 Run. Will probably keep the Forerunner 110 for a while, but im liking the 100 hour battery life with 60 second gps points.

Rock Climbing 1:00:00 [3]

Rockventures in Rochester. Just not as nice of a gym, but we made the most of it. mostly 5.7-9, as they seem to rate there routes about 2 easier than the equivalent in AA.

Orienteering 2:11:21 [3] 6.42 mi (20:28 / mi) +256m 18:12 / mi

Finished up the permanent course at Mendon Ponds. Made a couple silly bobbles, but overall it went pretty well, and was a great way to take advantage of the 65F weather on christmas eve!

Got 4 more permanent maps for the Rochester area for christmas, including one that was a US champs run a few years ago at Letchworth park! Hopefully we can do at least one more while we are home, especially if this weather holds out.

Orienteering 1:23:00 [3] 3.85 mi (21:34 / mi) +54m 20:39 / mi

Begged for the permanent course map for Mendon ponds as an early Christmas present. Decided to hit the northern easy part in the dark after a long car ride. Hit 8/24 controls. We forgot our good headlamps, but our normal ones sufficed with the bright moon and mostly trail nav. Planning to hit the rest later this week in the day... Or night, we'll see. Gets dark so early this Far East!
