today could become a rest day. been nice steady rain since about 4am this morning so I skipped the bicycle commute for the bus. 8.21 bus never came. handy when its pelting rain.

warm up run round aranda ovals. never seen it so sodden. luckily lights came on about half way through my warm up which helped in avoiding the worst of the water.

8*DS Hills solo. Pretty cold and wet and no companions so good effort to get out. legs were a bit weary - looking fwd to tomorrows rest day. reasonable set although slow on the 2nd last. i reckon the 2nd last is always the hardest - you can pump yourself up for the last knowing its the end.

slow jog home back round aranda ovals. some old bunter stopped me to tell me the lights on with noone training was a waste of carbon gases. thanks buddy - i'm with you on the environment but i just wanted to get home. he was walking with an old style tranny tuned to some talk show and turned up to about 11 so his mental health was already in question.
