6 AM

Running (Warm up) 8:30 [3] 1.0 mi (8:30 / mi)
shoes: Asics GT-2000 (Aqua - new)

Warm up with Jenny and a few 10 second pick ups.

Running race (Grandma's Half Marathon) 1:27:20 [3] 13.18 mi (6:38 / mi)
shoes: Asics GT-2000 (Aqua - new)

It was a PR day for me :) I was super happy with my time. I felt pretty darned good at the end too, maybe I could have gone a little faster...who knows? Had I went faster I might have crashed and burned too. Either way I am happy with today's race. I behaved myself and didn't get caught up in the crowd and start out way too fast. I kept a pretty even pace, except mile 5 for some reason was hard and that was a little slower.
