2 laps. did a bit of racing with local dudes. got ass whupped on final hill.

5 min warm up, then solo spinning session with Ipod.

definitely manage to put in a more intense session when i take part in one of the group sessions, but was able to put into practise some of the techniques from the classes i have been attending.

Music - UNKLE - War Stories - great for this session.

have bought single speed track bike to use for commuting and training rides. picking it up mid may.

need to do some work on my mountain bike - needs new front gearset, front forks, brake pads, and offroad tyres. hmmm...

good 30 min run, pushed up the hills. felt decent. nice to be in terrain.

would have run a bit longer, but needed to get home to attend Lib Dems meeting. interesting - i was the youngest there (wtf?)

first time i've done it, took me by surprise to be honest - really intense workout. had a 'fuck me' moment about 7 minutes in, as in 'fuck me i'm not going to be able to do this!' - but got into the rhythm eventually. excellent work out and have signed up for 2 classes next week.

the less i say about this the better, but the term 'horror show' probably just about sums it up.

if i'm going to make these sessions count, its going to take (a) some commitment and (b) some weight loss.

new run for me, tried to drive to Hurn to run in the forest, but got caught up in epic traffic jam 5 minutes from my house so pulled over and ran over to Kings Park.

felt okay. a few aches from the long walk/football on tues/wed. again, was tiring near the end.

glorious spring weather in bournemouth. running vest for the first time this year. no i-pod today.
