Note
(rest day)

about 30 min. field checking map for June 8 event.

running/walking long 1:30:00 [3] 7.8 mi (11:32 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Clifton 4

Didn't see the Dog Day's group at 7:30 while it was raining, so I checked out the farmer's market getting set up. Parked at parking garage and went to South Park and traced the new 5K Home Run course. Then to add more distance went to north Lawrence to 7th & Locust, then back downtown adding a few more blocks to get my near 8 miles. Felt tired and sluggish starting, but better as I ran. Tapering before next Sat's HM.

From Comm. Bldg to Illinois St, Pinckney, S Shaw and Burcham parks and back. Ran with map to update details for upcoming event. Still some standing water at Burcham after the recent flooding.

Red Dog led a quick paced workout. I stopped doing the exercises that involved hopping on my right foot. The achilles and heel can't take the pounding. My lifetime shock absorbers are shot.

running/walking 49:16 [2] 4.24 mi (11:37 / mi)
shoes: Hoka One One

Ran to Burcham to check out the post-flooding bike path. Any mud and debris was bulldozed out. Path can use a good sweep; otherwise good to run through. Thought about potential courses for June 8th. Map will need to be updated. Easy run (100%, except for a a few short stops - not a Galloway workout).
