Middle Distance Champs at Avon Valley. I had a pretty good run. On number 1 I ended up going to number 2 first and then back to number 1, but they were quite close and everyone else did the same thing, so it wasn't much of a problem. The only other control I had any trouble with was number 5, where I went up a different watercourse that wasn't on the map after missing the first one as they were both very indistinct, but when I got to the end of the watercourse I looked across to the correct watercourse and saw my control. I ended up coming 1st in the 14s. I caught Liam Phillips at number 3 and we were with each other for the rest of course as on most of the controls there wasn't much scope for different route choices.
