Was going to ride outside, but it turns out that when you don't check/change your brake pads for a long time, and then ignore the funny sounds for a while longer, you might not even notice that you've worn them all the way down and seriously gouged the rims on both wheels, and that the back one actually has some nasty cracks in it. This is the MTB I would have used for MTBO yesterday.

no MTBO, so I took the monkeys on the white course. It was a nice day, with less whining than usual/expected. Samantha did most of the navigation all the way around, with only sporadic help from me...not ready yet to let her go very far in the wrong direction. As always, beepy things and snacks provided most of the fun.
