Anybody have car space from Denver to Lake George next Tuesday PM? Nancy and I have transportation once we get up there, but if we can get a ride up (and eventually back, but that's a separate issue) it will save us from having to rent a car for a week. We could rendezvous anywhere in the greater Denver area.

I'm in the same situation. I arrive Denver airport at 6 pm. I'm also hoping to avoid renting a car by myself for the entire week. I don't have any transportation at the meet either, so unless anyone else out there can offer space, I guess I'll have to rent a car. Maybe we could at least share the ride up and back from the meet?

I've also posted on the RMOC list, and there's a reasonable chance the club members would be able to offer a ride. I'll let you know what I hear, or otherwise we can carpool.

Me four! If one of the 1..3 would like to rent a car, I'll throw in my share of the cost, but cannot drive.

Ok vladimir, let's see if jj gets any response from the RMOC list and then we'll decide. When do you get to Denver?

I think I get to Denver at 3:13 pm. Not sure yet, my plans fell through at the last moment and I'm doing the Southwest walk-up fares, which there are none at the time.

Nancy has a car reserved for the duration of the event for $200. We actually get in Monday night, and Nancy will be visiting with a friend on Tuesday in Denver. So if we don't get any local rides, then we can pick up the car, snag you guys at 6 PM, swing by the rental place to add Magnus as a driver, and head on up.

Wow! That would obviously be an amazing solution for me. When I looked into reserving I couldn't get a deal even close to $200.
