besides the awesome Hurricane Force wind warning issued thsi morning in Tassie, I have been amazed at the many fantastic lenticular cloud formations looming this afternoon. The weather looked truly impending, though the temperature was pretty pleasant. I note that the wind average is 85k with gusts to 110 at Scotts Peak. That is stronger at Matsuyker Island. And the cold change hasn't arrived yet. I'm very glad not to be hiking out there. Up on the range it must be close to extremely scary.

It was pretty scary hiking along Lonsdale St! I saw one lady get hit by a falling branch. I saw another branch almost fall on a car which had to brake suddenly.
There were 5 trees down in my street when I got home.

You'll just have to do it the way Victorians do - via an illegal download or a dodgy pirated DVD.
