Leg still sore so I took it easy. flat area so some controls hard to find. I stepped in a hold which hurt the leg. Generally I was being careful and not jumping things.
Wore my new shoes and was all pyched. I thought I could play an easy game as my leg is still sore. I am ok jogging foward. What i can't do is stop or change direction without hurting my leg which is tough in soccer.
Since it was the late night game there was only 1 sub (me) so even though I was hurt I still played a good portion of the game. We lost the game 10-5 but it was much closer than that. We gave up several 'junk' goals.
Still feeling the affects from the weekend. Had a cat emergency so was late to the game. I didn't properly stretch/warm up. It was fine until I had to boot the ball hard. I strained my thigh.
My team scored 2 goals but lost 3-2. I am still happy as we usally don't score any goals against the good teams.
