running 1:36:00 [3] 11.0 mi (8:44 / mi)

Hunger Hills. Very very hot, but it wasn't too bad in the shade. The worst bits were the road sections. Survived without too much trouble.

Adel Crag. Started relatively quickly, finished relatively slowly. I was cruising along just fine until I got back to Seven Arches when it was suddenly hard work.

Swimming 45:00 [2] 0.5 mi (1:29:58 / mi)

Supposedly helping to supervise a swimming party of 9 year olds. I mostly ignored them and swam a leisurely 30 lengths (x 25m) in 32 minutes. Disadvantaged by the occasional child trying to enjoy themselves, drowning etc. Also 2 goes at the inflatable/obstacle course thing - I fell off the first time.

Does this count as training?

It is the furthest I have swum in many years. Evie (9 last week) does 32 lengths of this pool in 25 minutes. She's got bigger muscles than me.

Butcher Hill, Newlay, Kirkstall. Didn't feel great setting off but picked up as I went on. Nice and easy.

Adel Crag. Went out steady, got bored, speeded up on the way home. Muddy and slippy - it rained a lot in Leeds while we were in sunny Bath, apparently.
