Cycling 25:00 [1]

It was really a couple of hours around Nickerson, but it felt like about a 3 mile run to my legs, so I'll call it 25 minutes. Gorgeous day, and the kids did great. Ethan is a speedster.

running (roads) 42:00 [2]
shoes: Asics 2100 - 2

With David, early. Feeling normal again, though still a bit tired.

Wednesday Jun 27, 2007 #

running (treadmill) 30:00 [2]
shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

Warmed up, then jogged very slowly! Still stiff, but improving.

Hiking (treadmill) 15:00 [1]

Actually 40 minutes, but it would have been 15 running, so I'll call it that. Everything hurts.

running race (trails) 1:00:00 [5]

Cranmore. The downhill was fun the first time around, but my legs were jelly the second time. I wasn't sure they were going to keep supporting me, and I just couldn't catch the woman in front (who I had passed easily on the down on the first lap).
The ups were long, and I felt not strong, though not awful either. Nice to have Steve Olafsen cheering about half way up :-)
A very silly race. And I am paying for it in soreness 24 hours later.

running warm up/down (trails) 12:00 [2]
shoes: Asics 2100 - 2

About 5 warm up and 7 warm down. Felt okay at the time!

Saturday Jun 23, 2007 #

running (trails) 30:00 [3]
shoes: Asics 2100 - 2

Gentle jog with Andy. Then lots of stretching.

Friday Jun 22, 2007 #

running (treadmill) 40:00 [3]

Steady.

shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

Sunday Jun 17, 2007 #

running (trails) 1:26:00 [2]
shoes: Inov8

With Wendy, 7:15am (before it got hot). Felt slow, but steady. Dragged Wendy a bit further than she was intending to go ... we were having too good a chat for her to stop :-)

Strength (abs and back) 5:00 [1]

Friday Jun 15, 2007 #

running (treadmill) 33:00 [3]
shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

Got up to a decent pace (about 7:18) for much of it. Was not willing to let Bridget have more TV time, thus it was a short run ...

Wednesday Jun 13, 2007 #

running warm up/down (treadmill) 30:00 [3]
(injured) shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

9am. A good time to run. Felt okay, but now (4:30pm) feel like I am getting a cold (which Bridget already has ...).

running tempo (treadmill) 20:00 [4]
shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

With hills (up to 4%). Not very strong.

Strength 20:00 [1]

Weights for arms. Also abs and back. Have to get ready for the Cranmore course - no wimpy backs allowed!

Monday Jun 11, 2007 #

running (roads) 1:05:00 [3]
shoes: Asics 2100 - 2

Early am. First went on my own, and went up and down the hill a few times. Nothing hurt at the time. Then met Debby and David for the usual loop. A few hours after, my hip hurt. The next day my knee and IT band hurt. Bah.

Friday Jun 8, 2007 #

running intervals (treadmill) 10:00 [4]
shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

3 x 800m. All around 3:00 pace. Felt out of shape.

running warm up/down (treadmill) 38:00 [3]
shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

Wednesday Jun 6, 2007 #

running (roads) 43:00 [2]

Usual am run.

Sunday Jun 3, 2007 #

With Wendy. A little knee pain. Felt tired, but it was 7am on a weekend...

Saturday Jun 2, 2007 #

running warm up/down (treadmill) 18:00 [3]
shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

9:00pm - late, but I really needed a run.

running tempo (treadmill) 10:00 [4]
shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

Got to 6:18 pace, and it felt okay. Knee hurt a little more than yesterday - but not much. Sped up very slowly!

Friday Jun 1, 2007 #

running (treadmill) 48:00 [2]
shoes: Pegasus 3 wide

Very easy. Didn't push at all. Didn't feel strong, but the knee and hip were fine. Rest helps.
