PM- >1.5 hour mowing lawn and trimming the slope. Skipped yoga to get it done before it rained again. It felt good to be outside, needed it.

Climbed ok. Didn't feel great. Repeated a couple 6s and 5s. Didn't send anything new.

24 sets, modified beginner. Hungry, sort of low energy, but I've felt worse.

20 slow push ups in a minute
15 slow push ups in a minute
Pretty drained after bouldering and campusing. Ate a gu when got to the gym. I didn't crash but didn't feel awesome.

Simpson Rock, OS 11a, 11a, 12b (soft, but super fun). Experienced 2 or 3 seasons today. Crazy, wet weather but fun little day trip in the van w/ B and C.

Sport Climbing (American Fork/ Hideaway) 1:12:00 [3]

10a, 10d, 2.5 burns on Sea Tomato. New high point on last burn with new beta. Probably could have rested and given it another go but wanted to try to get C to the vet before it closed. The top half was seepy, wet, and gummy anyway. Psyched to do it next time there. Psyched on the new beta avoiding the horrendous right hand slopey pinch.

Hard class tonight- a lot of balancey, core-intensive stuff. It's the worst I've felt, ability-wise, in any class. But, it was fun. No frustration, just laughing at myself. Glad I went.

I keep getting to bed too late (~9:20), and then taking 10-20min to fall asleep. Work is kind of sucking right now, so I haven't been rushing to bed b/c it makes having to go back to work come that much more quickly. Of course, I'd feel better if I got more sleep. Vicious cycle. Psyched to hit the gym today.

Bouldering (Gym) 1:12:00 [4]

Fun session. Sent the crimpy v7 proj with new beta. Flashed a v6 and did another v6 2nd go. Flashed a couple new 5s too. Feeling a little stronger, power-wise.

Campusing 21:00 [4]

Campus session 3. 14 sets. I kind of crashed after a couple sets. Maybe bouldered a little too much and not recovered from the weekend. I performed about as well I did during the last session. It just felt harder.

I went upstairs to try to lift a little but felt worked. I did some leg lifts and a set each of push ups and should flies. My right shoulder was a little sore. It seemed wiser to just pull the plug and go home.

Overall, a solid day at the gym though. I may only do one more campus workout. I don't want to push my luck, injury-wise.

Low Standard Cave
Really tired from yesterday. Sent Oneida 11b 2nd go. Felt hard, esp. for a warm up today. Unbelievably sent Eat Your Liver 12b 5th or 6th go- a bit of a screamer. Psyched to get it done. Nice day there, so nice to not be in the gym.

Fun session. Did a hard 5 I'd never down and put in some good work on a crimpy 7. Did a couple other 5s. Climbed too long before campusing. Oh well.

Campusing 21:00 [4]

Mix of intermediate and beginner. 14 sets. I did do a 1-3-5 max ladder on the large rungs for the first time. Did it twice leading left hand. Cool to see some progress there.

Strength Training 9:00 [3]

a few sets of core, 3x 10 push ups, 15 dips, 3 sets shoulder fly to front. I felt pretty cooked by the time I got to the weight room. Really good training day.

Legs feel ok this morning. Deep sleep but getting to bed too late. I feel like I'm sleeping better since I started jogging a little again.

Felt wrecked by the end of the day at work. Work kinda sucked today. Going to skip yoga to chill and do some homework.

Upper body sore from campusing yesterday.

Cool little loop from Orson Smith TH I hadn't done before. So many options for big loops over there. If only I could jog longer than 3-4mi. Maybe one day.
All the climbing was in the first .7mi. Last mile was all downhill and under 7min. Funny. After a slow and rough start, it ended up being a good run.

Good session on fun new problems in the cave. Sent threes v6s within 2-3 tries. Fingers are feeling stronger. I can tell the training is starting to kick in. My legs weren't totally dead either, which was a surprise.

Beginner plus another 8-10 sets. Lots of room for improvement but good workout. Really psyched to work on some gains in power.

Anns-clarks-BST CCW from Potato Hill. I felt pretty tired all day but just drove out there to see who it'd feel. Once I got out 2mi, I decided to just do the loop. I walked a few times when I felt like it but wanted to keep avg pace below 11mm. Good jog in the heat. Overall, I felt better than expected.

Send Margarita (5.12c)! The epic has ended (for that route). Did all the moves on Sea Tomato (12b/c?) but had to leave for Mom's day stuff.
Short, but good, day up there.

Landed a couple kickflips, some shove it variations, plus a 360 kickflip that was caught on video. Psyched. Brought my own board and skate shoes, which made a huge difference.

Weak session on dead legs. No surprise there. I did manage to flash a soft v6 and did a hard, steep v5 first try of the day. I think I tried it last week- can't remember. The v5 was the highlight- good core tension, fingers, and body positioning. Nice.

Good workout. Added a couple exercises at the end. Last HB workout for this cycle. Just in time too as my right index finger started getting a little agitated the last set.

B and I split a pint of Tonight Dough ice cream last night, which had enough saturated fat to cover us for the week. Dangerous stuff. I brought my running gear to work with me. The plan is to hit a dirt jog after work. Make it happen.

Out and back on Ann's from Potato Hill TH. Legs were pretty good. Took it really easy with some strides on the second half, getting down to low 6mm pace at the end. Getting psyched to jog a bit more, maybe get on some mountains this summer.
