Send Charro 12b second go. The bottom section felt easier today, which makes me feel a lot better. I think I was pretty tired yesterday form not sleeping great and getting adjusted to the elevation and intensity of the sun.

Sent Hot Tamale Baby 12a 2nd go. Super good route. I feel good about how I did on the OS burn- just ran out of gas. Psyched to at least send two 12s today.

Cooled down on a fun 11b and 10b. This place is so rad!

Last jog of my 30s. Cool temps. Legs were ok. Did a few strides up to 30+ seconds down to mid 6mm pace. Decent jog. Lower back felt barely stiff, not bad at all.

Good session on new, likely soft, problems. Flashed 2 new 5s, a 6, and a 7. If they don't all get downgraded, it was the best indoor bouldering session of my life. :)
I felt better than I did last week but totally ran out of gas at exactly an hour. I tried some crux moves on some harder problems too, so it was an okay power session. I warmed up slower today, plus drank half a bottle of skratch labs.

Black Magic
wu on 11b, send Distraction 11c/d 1st go, send Chalk on the Trigger 12c after a few goes on the bottom crux boulder problem. Onsighted from the 3rd bolt after doing the bottom crux. Such an amazing, engaging route.

Tried Tulsa 12b but came down at 3rd bolt because my feet were wrecked.

In all, a good day and did 2 routes I'd not done. Doing the 12c was an unexpected highlight. I feel a little beat up and will take this week easy to prep for crushing next weekend.

Like 5 burns on TKO. Fell at last bolt on 3rd go. Nuts. High point though, and I have the bottom sequence worked out. Good conditions. Just wanted to send. Oh well. Wrecked myself.

Low energy and kinda dead legs until the last 1/ mile or so, and then I could pick up the pace. It was good to get out, but I can feel the run motivation waning. I want to get out on the trails this fall though.

I want to be rested for the weekend to send. I think I need to eat more, but nothing really sounds good.

Did a new 5 and 6, tried a bunch of others. Hard new problems. Not much power today. Crowded too. Winter is coming. Ha.

Campusing 6:00 [4]

Quick mini test session to see how it'd feel. Did a set of basic ladders on large and small rungs. Did 2 sets of 1-3-5 leading left hand on the medium rungs and one set leading right (didn't stick the 5 on the second set, so did B1-R3-L2-L5-B5).

Felt fine. No tweakiness. Just need a proper workout to follow. I'll be ready to soon to focus more on training at the gym as the bouldering area gets more crowded with the wetter weather.

Solid fitness day- 3 new 12as. I'll take it. Psyched to get on harder stuff.

2 burns on Gray Boy (12d)- did all the moves but didn't have the eye of the tiger to fight on the crux move. I don't think I'm recovered form last weekend. Oh well. Time to take a break from this place for a week or 2. But, I'm psyched to do Gray Boy this season. It's pretty rad.

Slice of Pie 12b 1st go. Shares same top as Beam and Coke so not a OS or flash.
Send The Clam 12c 2nd go of day after falling 3 moves from the top on 1st burn. Saved the redpoint on the 2nd go after breaking off a foothold- whew. Solid day. Legs were noodles on last 1/2mi of hike down. So worked.

11d, Send Tenacious Z (13a) 3rd go of day. Ch-ch boom. So psyched. Felt harder today than last week but got it done. Beta burn on The Clam (12c). I think I could've onsighted it but punted early not popping enough up to a jug. Turds. Awesome day. It was kind of cold up there and it rained on us on the way down. So psyched to send. Likely go back Monday, so B can get back on her proj. I still have a couple things I want to do up there.

Really good rd. jog. Legs were good, esp on uphills. Ran longer than expected b/c I was checking out some new streets. Lower back was good. I woke at 4:30, 20min before my alarm but felt awake.

If I feel ok at work, I may make a habit of the AM run. Plan to hit the gym after work.

2 @35lb crimp but skin was shot.
Did some core, plank push ups, etc. Quick little session at home.
