Adventure Trail Loop (or part thereof)

Met up with Karl at Old Government House and the three of us powered up QJub to the tap. Karl and I went down the single track to the Sequoias while Fern stuck to the bitumen. The ride out of the Sequoias was quite tough and Karl has fixed my bike so it won't go into the highest gear hence i had to walk up that track. The zooming back down the hill was quite fun. Beautiful day out!

A Simon Run (OH THE HUMANITY!!!!!)

We had a plan, then Simon changed that plan. We ended up running back from Pole Rd via Ironbank and Ackland Hill Road. It was a bit long runnin along Ackland Hill Road with all the speeding drivers, but it was pleasant otherwise. We were all (excpet Simon) pretty tired by the bottom of the hill and still had to run back to our place. We were quite pleased with the idea of having a refresher at the Sheoak Cafe afterwards.

It's dark without a torch

Started out the usual way up to the railway line and along the boundary to the crossing. Bridgemon turned home from here, and brave me followed the others up the hill. Pretty soon after that my head torch battery when kaput and i had to run in the light stoled from the others, but mostly Greg. At one point I had a good slip and fall and that has left me with a stiff back today. The rest of the run was pretty fun.

Floody Run

Bridgemon, FernWerm and myself went out and splashed in puddles. That is until we found a puddle to big to splash in. Sturt Creek was boiling with fast moving water so we played on the logs and went back up the hill a bit. We found the Minnow Creek had an equally impressive amount of water so we trudged up to the higher ground and home again.
