10:28 AM. Mt Crawford Forest. Burned 482 calories.
Course: 2 6.2 km 230 m
Dunno about this, i think i was suffering from fatigue with the last couple of days of effort. No real problems with navigation but i just couldn't get a pace going. Fern caught me on the hill climb, but i got away again in the thick native scrub. Quite a few unflagged dangerous mine shafts very close to controls which i found a little dodgy. One competitor came back and got rather angry about the shafts. They were on the map, but were not flagged on the gorund and were very dangerous. I don't know about the rules in this case, but i thought controls could've been better placed not anywhere so near to them. They were on the map however (the ones i found).

Olave Hill Run
3:38 PM. Upper Sturt. Burned 1178 calories.

A great afternoon for a run with Fern. We climbed up Olave Hill Road (I walked a lot while Fern did a bit of doubling back) Then once we got to the top i suggested we ran to the lodge and back down through Long Gully passing Karka Pavillion. It was a rather pleasant run and a goo pace at times. We saw Toy Story 3 3D after the run and it was AWESOME!

Left home at 0620 for this run, i told Fern if it was below 0 i was going back to bed. It was 2 degrees. So i went out with Fern for a run. It was rather chilly, i was wearing glvoes and a beanie. The run was kind of spoiled by a stupid old bat with her dog in Belair NP, we said "good morning" and she growled at us for having bright lights. It kind of upset me. By the time we got home it had dropped in temperature to 1.5 degrees and i had to get the jug of water to defrost Fern's windscreen.

It was cold. Fern and I ran to the park from my place then had to hang around for 30min, by then it was colder. The run felt mighty slow for me, but i'm not so sure based on what SportTracks tells me. I almost pulled the pin because of a bit of the CBF factor, but i trudged on, and even suggested to Fern we could run home too.

Monday Night Amble
6:45 PM. Panorama. Burned 716 calories.

Only Fern, Jenny and Simon tonight. Spent most of the night chatting to simon about the Arrows Relays. I hear it is going to be a great race, pass that on to others.
At one point in the run i had the others convinced i knew where i was going.. FOOLS. I took them up hill into a cul-de-sac which we all had to go back down. It somehow started raining without much observation from us, so we all got a little wet.
