Scottish 6 days, Day 3, Creag mhic chailein
LL 4,5km, 170m climb

A good day of orienteering, felt in control most of the time and controls were appearing where I was expecting them - nice change from yesterday :)
Running was also better, but of course still really slow.
Details:
4) Lost some time because I was ending up too far down at the fence. 1:15 lost
5) Lost a bit of time in the circle. 45s
7) Stopped once for about 45s because I got a bit confused. Otherwise fine.
9) Spiked the control, but was so tired after the climb to 8 that I just moved very, very slow.
Total mistakes: 2:45, 3,8%

Note

And then in the afternoon a nice day took a turn for bad:
First our drivers weren't reachable by mobile to pick us up, so not knowing what happened I finally hitchhicked to the camping area - turned out that my boyfriend was falling into the water when trying to secure a catched fish and killed his mobile while doing that :(
Then it started to rain for the rest of the evening - not the usual drizzle, but real soaking rain, which is a pain in the ass if you try to cook on a campsite.
Low point of the day was when I turned my ankle badly while washing dishes in the soaking rain :( Don't ask how...
Thankfully while it hurt like hell at that moment and I could feel the injury for the rest of the week, it didn't really prevent me from running. And when finally sitting in a dry tent with a bottle of cider, a good fish to eat and nice company, the day started to look better again.
