Planned a loop in the Wattagans via an interesting looking ridgeline, but rogaine mapped path was near non-existent after a km (shock!) so got nicely cut up again, and then we got foiled by big crags after a spot of scrambling, so had to head back the way we came.

"Rogaine training", particularly in Lake Macquarie country, possibly the most frustrating & futile training of all, in what will be a shock to nobody.

Explore of the GNW from Heaton Lookout to Hunter lookout and back in the dark, mostly with Tol. Tried to take an alternative route back to the car as shown on the rogaine map, but obviously it didn't exist, so we got caught up in bush bashing through crap before retreating.
