Easy 40 minutes on terrain. Ankle feeling good now which is good. Still wearing the support and will probably continue to wear it/tape the ankle before runs for extra support. Last run of the training week, will probably do some S+C tomorrow and then I’ll start of next week on Saturday with ParkRun and Hockey.

Easy 30 minute aerobic run to kick off the training season (start delayed a bit by ankle). Good news is the ankle seems to be doing ok and managed to get a few sprints in at the end of the run. Onwards and upwards.

Low intensity S+C for ankle. Didn’t want to risk any high impact stuff. Ankle not doing too badly so might get a run in before the end of the week but I’ll see how it goes.

Ankle pain got worse overnight so unlikely I’ll go to the track. Pain when moving it or walking on it. I’ll ice it this morning and see what the walk to school feels like

Giving the ankle a complete rest today. Ok walking on it around school but in no condition to do any form of exercise. I will continue to ice it and keep it moving as much as possible but I don't have a race for just less than two weeks.

Good Race overall, joint second. Made a mess of #7 by trying to red line it. Too far south of the control. Take the safe route next time. Went over on ankle going to #9. Not too bad at the time but after I finished it stiffened and now unable to walk well and probably won't train for the next few days to give it a rest.

Small parallel error on #11 which was annoying and need to cut out those silly mistakes.

Otherwise a good run and looking forward to a few weeks of rest/base training.

GB Talent Squad time trial to get VO2 MAX and to work out a training plan. Went off a little fast maybe but didn't drop below 4:00/km
