talent north training - blakeholme in the snow

course shadowed by cat taylor (woah!) and then a corridor course by myself. nav a bit shaky on the first course especially no 1 as i think i put myself under a lot of pressure due to being shadowed and took a while to get into the area especially as it was covered in snow but managed to get into it and some pretty good nav for most of the way. corridor ok, sometimes came off a bit but always managed to resurrect it. lovelyyy training day albeit a bit chilly

kendal night urban

more easy ish orienteering. course started pretty good but then quickly turned downhill when they started being a bit tricksy and hiding controls and putting them on the other side of the fence as you would expect and whatnot. also had a massive leg in there with no routechoice up a huge hill which was soo appreciated. did enjoy the new area though and has a lot of potential. 5/5 loc night urbans completed, enjoyed coming down a lot and will miss it
6 PM

running warm up/down 8:28 [2] 1.25 km (6:46 / km) +7m 6:35 / km

running 48:57 [3] 8.0 km (6:07 / km) +180m 5:30 / km

walla reps

a very varied mix of efforts along the walla loop, some up hill and some downhill and some on flat

a bit of a fartlek sort of thing i guess. not ran by the usual person so i think it was a bit improvised tbh, i do prefer a bit more structure to my sessions but hopefully this is a one off. moonlit night and lovely views over derwent so no complaints
