Orienteering (Catching Features) 40:00 [0] ****

Orienteering 34:42 [3] 3.95 km (8:47 / km) +41m 8:21 / km
ahr:140 max:172 shoes: VJ Falcons

the one part of me that didn't survive Georgia was my stomach. I was so freaking nauseous, I walked 11-15 because the movement just made the nausea worse. It's a shame because the course was pretty fun and I would've liked to see how I could perform if I actually was able to race it.

i better feel ok tomorrow because it would be dumb to call in sick for my first day of work

Not too good of a race today I was hella nauseous because I think I just ate something weird, so I couldn't get myself to push and run fast. I was out there to finish, and that I did. I'm not mad about the race, it just wasn't my style of course (aka it was hilly) and I was feeling like shit. Maybe tomorrow will be better?

Felt good about this course. Probably should've run a bit faster, especially since a lot of people beat me by less than 50 seconds, but oh well. It was fun, and the only mistakes I did were going to 12 and 13. Then at the go control I apparently waved my hand over the control a bit too far cuz it didn't beep, so I had to run back and punch it. Pretty frustating, but hopefully there's some cool photos that came out of it.

ahr:105 max:137 5c

Lily wanted to do some compass training so I joined. I nailed the first two controls, 3 I was very close to, and then 4 and 5 I was quite off.

Running on a random map made by "david" I found on Usynligo. It was somewhat on my way to Diana's place, since I'm riding with them to GNC.

Running a night-O sprint in a strange neighborhood on a map that is sort of mostly correct is interesting.

Orienteering (armchair simulations) 25:00 [0] ***

does this count as orienteering? Probably not, but it's all I was able to get myself to do today. Barely. I guess there goes my rest day for the month.

Did some RunningWild simulations of maps from Portugal that John Brady sent to us back in the summer.
