Park run at Coombs for a change - only about a 7 minute car drive from home. Quite foggy tho, especially along the Molonglo River - which the track goes along!. Unsealed running surface with a few eroded bits. And a few inclines on the out and back course. Settled into a comfortable pace and enjoyed the inclines. By chance there were two other runners there from the Thursday night running group. PB for the course - beat the time of the only other run I have done on this course.

Casual ride to the arboretum and back via the burbs. Nice sunny day altho still a chill in the air - lots of layers to start of with.

A really really cold running technique training session. Started with gloves, buff, running shorts, running pants (long), long sleeve t shirt, running singlet and spray jacket (and a light as it was dark). Ran 2.5 km warm up climbing from the national rock garden to the arboretum visitors building via the terraces with a climb followed by a run in front of a terrace before climbing again to the next terrace and running again in front - repeated 21 times. Warm after that so stripped off the spray jacket, long pants and buff and gloves for a 8 loop run down the grass slope of the amphitheatre, up the other side and along the path back to the start. Then put all the gear back on to run back to the car to finish. Time bit of a guess as so cold I forgot to start the garmin until I had done a few terraces.

More cardio in the exercise class today - to try and warm everyone up. Mainly stepping, running and dancing! Another bleak day weather wise here.

On a freezing day ran with Grant from Mawson shops and then along west side of Mt Taylor and back to shops via Chifley. Stopped at Runners Shop on the way to the run to buy a long sleeve T shirt - none my size so had to persevere with short sleeve singlet and running singlet over it (and shorts). Real cold breeze on parts of the run. Coffee shop was nice and warm tho afterwards.
