LBG loop with DRAG - peloton of 3 to 4. One rider returning after COVID/election helping so took it a bit easier today. Coffee stop at ANI. Cool weather but dry.

Ran from home to Stromlo to do some running in the terrain before running back to Upper Duffy. So tempting to run on the single tracks rather than the terrain (which I did quite a bit). Warm weather for CBR.

Car being serviced so a ride back home from Phillip then back again to collect the car. Cool (as in cold) riding conditions early on.

Sunday May 22 #

MTBO race 54:55 [3] 8.64 km (6:21 / km) +186m 5:44 / km

Medium course at Majura (rough) pines. Only mistake was near the end where I crossed a gate and found the bike path I wanted was about 3 metres directly below the roadway/bridge - so had to back track to another route option. Bit too many tree roots and rocky climbs to be a comfortable outing.

Park run mark 2 - again at Coombs - a bit faster than 2 weeks ago - by 29 seconds - cool conditions but no wind - rode there and back which was a test going down hill to the event given the temperature.
