My Simple Polar HRM keeps randomly resetting itself back to the original default time without me doing anything to it - I'll just look at my watch and it'll be just after 10am on the 7th November 2003. Anyone else had a problem like this? It's less than a year old so shouldn't be battery really.

I would contact Polar Service, looks like bad contact inside your receiver, unit needs to be serviced; also there is a possibility that water got inside.

I had this problem once, but with a s710i polar, especially when the temp was cold. It happened often when I pressed the red "lap" button.

I got a replacement - no problem, but throught the head office, and not where I bought the watch :)

It's been sent back to be "fixed" three times already since I bought it in April! Really not impressed. I think I might have to write a letter of complaint too.

They have moved the manufacturing to China recently and the rumors among runners that general quality has dropped :(

Hm... since I lost my first S625SX I have vowed to wait for the next generation to come out before I replace it. But if the quality is dropping, maybe I should switch to another brand instead... :(
