Road/Track Run 32:49 [3] 3.0 mi (10:56 / mi) +34m 10:34 / mi
slept:7.5 weight:114.5kg shoes: INOV-8 Road-X Lite 155

Normal run, soreness level and motivation level. During the run it felt like I was moving fast but looked like I was going slow. It was cooler than yesterday but I think I sweated more, go figure. Saturday will be a test for my discipline because I won't be at home and that is a 6 mile day. Every Saturday following this one is farther than I have ran in a long time. Once I pass the 12 mile mark I will be running farther than I have ever continuously ran, orienteered no ran yes

Road/Track Run 46:41 [3] 4.0 mi (11:40 / mi) +54m 11:12 / mi
slept:8.12 weight:114.5kg shoes: INOV-8 Road-X Lite 155

Had to get that push to get out.
I felt the first bit was slow.
around mile 3 some pains were presenting themselves in my legs but nothing serious. When I sped up some the went away, so I attribute it to running style.
As I said last mile body started in the groove and I was actually able to pick up the pace a little bit.

The snow has melted on most surfaces. There are areas where the plows accumulated the snow and so the nice sidewalks are caped with some nasty snow banks.

slept:7.0 weight:113kg (rest day)

Rest day!!! body doesn't feel sore from running.
Went and saw Passion Pit / Matt and Kim concert last night. It was fun, I am glad I didn't have a "FLOOR" seat. Also the crowd that went there was not to discrete with their pot smoking... when some one can see your joint from across the houston field house you should probably rethink your "let's get high at a concert" model, not to mention there are a few of us non smokers that would enjoy our mostly unadulterated lungs to remain that way.
Tomorrow is a 4 miler

Road/Track Run 35:11 [3] 3.0 mi (11:44 / mi) +37m 11:18 / mi
slept:6.0 weight:113.5kg shoes: INOV-8 Road-X Lite 155

So there seemed a bunch of things at odds with me getting started today.
freezing rain, lack of sleep, and tummy to name a few.
However one must gain a little bit of discipline when it comes to exercising, especially if in 16 weeks I am doing a marathon.
the start of the run I felt like I was going a little faster than normal, but this was probably an illusion of having a tail wind. soreness level average, breathing actually quite clear, I think the warmer temperature helped with the breathing.
when I did the turn to start going up the Hudson things just slowed down. but still moving. I did the same 700m in the unshoveled park, this time there were tracks to follow. The snow part was tougher than Saturday because I rain on my slick road shoes, so it felt like running in cold sand.
The end was pretty average, had to run in the road because the plows covered up the nicely shoveled sidewalks.
