racing (D'ear 5k trail run) 40:00 [3] 3.1 mi (12:54 / mi)

I have done this race for many years but ive always done the 10k. Brian went and I took the dogs with me. I could have went a touch faster but the last mile I ended up helping a girl get to the finish talking her into not walking. So I did a good deed. I also had to use extreme caution on all the bridges since they were really slick and icy! The dogs did well. Brian and I both won our age groups and gift certificates!! A good day.

The dogs and I got a late start due to rain. Once it stopped we headed out to muddy sloppy roads. We did the Wallace rd loop plus to house rd and back. A good walk even if the ducks were distracting. We stopped at about one hour to use the woods. Luckily I looked over my shoulder before squatting! The owner pulled up asking what I was doing. Uh... I gotta pee really bad. After a fewnminutes of convincing him I wasn't just hiking on his property he was cool about it and finally let me do what I needed to do. Dakota is tired and Casey could keep on going!!!!

Hard spinning today! Sweaty and breathing hard! Ahhh....... after I finished spinning I got off my bike and did 20 ab rollers. I think 20 is my limit with my neck right now.

I decided to go out and walk the path during lunch today since the weather is so nice out! Feeling really good. My left leg is still acting up a bit but I think it's getting better.

Spinning this morning! Headed to the basement to get this done. I'm starting to feel back to myself again and working out is starting to fall back into place. Still a bit hard due to going back to work full time this week but it's getting better! I need to incorporated the spin bike twice a week to get a harder workout in. The spin bike makes me work hard and sweat buckets! So I did 15 mins spinning then 5 mins of hard standing up hill climbing, 10 mins easier spinning, 5 mins hard standing up hill climbing followed by 10 mins of easier spinning. Whew!!! After I finished this I did 15 reps of the ab roller just to see how my neck would handle this. Seemed to do just fine.

Got home changed grabbed the dogs and headed out! We went from the truck to van orden and back. Dogs were good and we all enjoyed a nice evening.

Grabbed the dogs as soon as I got home. Time to break out reflective vests and the headlamps since its dark by the time we get done now. I felt good and the dogs were happy happy happy! I cannot wait to run even a little bit.
