Orienteering 45:00 [1] ****

Red course at Estabrook Woods (5.9 km). My legs weren't cooperating at all. I jogged along for some 45 min and decided to walk home after that. Obviously not strong enough for running two days in a row at the present...

Trail run from Houghton's Pond by myself. Felt good to run in more challenging terrain than Hammond Pond. Did three good uphills, but avoided the biggest climbs, and kept a decent pace. My stride feels stronger than in a long time (presumably due to all the strength training), even though my thighs were still burning from the last two day's training.

Run with Sanna and Mark at Hammond Pond. Felt much better than yesterday. Would have liked to go further, but it became too dark to run.

Easy run with Sanna from work through the Olmstead Park and around Jamaica Pond. Felt awful. My legs were stiff, my back and shoulders were tense and I felt that I couldn't breath. To make things worse, I hadn't had time for lunch and felt out of energy. At least, I was moving forward at some kind of a speed...

Strength training, upper body. At the gym after the run. Sanna and I had planned to go together to compare our programs, but Sanna hadn't brought a photo-ID so the gym didn't accept her as my guest.

Biking home from work (along Comm Ave). I had problems with road constructions last time I took this route. Today the construction was finished and it turned out that they had added a very nice bike lane along Beacon towards Cleveland Circle.
