I think I inadvertently turned myself off of running by racing a 26km trail race then a trail marathon the next weekend in April. I think that this was the first run I'd done (not in a race) since April 26th - the date of the marathon. I had great intentions of a 10km trail run, and it was all I could to convince myself to do the 5-6km loop around my neighbourhood. Motivation: where are you? I've signed up for the 53km at the Ultimate XC in just over a month, so I better get my ass in gear!
