Chilson. SMOC Race. Green Course. 4.5K 10c Garmin data 7.2K
Rain.
Two main mistakes:
#3 (35) - 4 min. 90 degrees mistake when I reached trails intersection.
Not far from this place was #9 (33). I saw it on my way to #3.
#9 (33) -20min. After #8(39) I accidentally reached the trail on the west side and turn sharply on the left instead of stopping and reading the map carefully.

Note

Sometime this fall Gratiot County expects to have highly accurate contour elevation maps accessible to everyone, thanks to some grant money for high-tech imaging.
A $76,000 United State Geological Survey grant was awarded to the county toward the purchase of LiDAR imagery data. The county, along with Greater Gratiot Development and the Gratiot County Geographic Information System each kicked in additional funding to meet the $156,000 price tag for the data.
“The information they gather from the fly-over will be analyzed and we expect to have the maps this fall.” Those maps, which will show elevation contours by one-foot increments, will be available for anyone to use.
