Orienteering race 1:17:48 [5] **** 6.6 km (11:47 / km) +175m 10:24 / km
shoes: Montrail Highlander

Ran red on FC Central after helping with training and finish at the big scout event. No big errors--which is a big accomplishment. Lots of small bobbles, seems to often be lack of confidence--stopping short of control, etc. Twisted the right foot after about 4 controls, so kind of hobbled afterward.

Walk 30:00 [2] 2.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

Usual walk waiting for Bailey. Trying my orthotics again to see if they help with the foot pain.

Road Running (recovery) 49:00 [3] 6.0 mi (8:10 / mi)
shoes: Adidas Supernova

Usual Bollinger block. Besides an annoying right foot, everything else felt 'creaky' probably still from the long run on Sunday. But, strangely, it felt pretty strong on the hills--49min is actually pretty fast for a recovery run on that loop.

Note
(rest day)

Other than my right foot, I don't feel so bad considering... Probably try something easy tomorrow.

Off-Road Running (endurance) 2:15:00 [5] ** 21.0 km (6:26 / km) +450m 5:48 / km
shoes: Vasque Velocity

Trails around FC North and West. Usual 15 run, 1 walk regimen. Stopped for a quick bathroom break and power bar halfway. Probably should only eat half a bar at a time--sat like a brick for a while afterward.
Hills were very hard--perhaps a consequence of yesterday's digging (much like squats). Right ankle really started to be a problem on the rocks too. Pretty good workout though.
