Woke up nauseous again today. It must be something in my diet, maybe the new jar of almonds. I ate those prior to my last bout of nausea as well. I'm also really sore from the box jump tabatas yesterday. It's my upper back and abs, not my hips, quads or knees. I expect that I will be full blown sore and stiff by the end of the day.
Box jumps per the Tabata protocol.
3 repetitions of 4 minute sets (20s work/10s rest) followed by 4 min rest period. During the rest period did one set of prone supermans with 6 lb med ball, 10 reps per side. Used 16" box.
Lunch run downtown. Did some "song length" tempo intervals. Felt good to be out running. I think a change in routine to runs earlier in the day may help my frequency as work tends to get more hectic as the day progresses.
The city is getting ready for Azalea Fest this weekend.
Ran the causeway in Fort Lauderdale. Back and forth over the bridge a couple of times. Followed up with a set of 30 pushups and 50 bw squats when I got back to the room.
