Orienteering (SOL 1) 1:51:28 [4] 13.2 km (8:27 / km)
shoes: VJ Falcon

I feel like it was a huge waste of time me going out today. I absolutely buried myself, only made about 5 minutes of mistakes and ended up an hour down on the leader. I dont really know where to go from here because there is no way I'm making it round the 21E long course at the JK and the training I have been doing clearly is giving me nothing.

Running (long run) 1:21:00 [3] 17.2 km (4:43 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

Back out into the Pentlands today. A lot of climb today, hardly any running on flat stuff but was good fun. A really good day for it today, virtually no wind and nice and cool. Feeling a bit sore but glad to get out.

Intervals (12x1min ) 1:02:00 [2] 9.9 km (6:16 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

training down at the green again with the running club. session was 12x1minute with a minute recovery. The recovery minute felt a lot shorter than the running minute though.]

Not the best quality of sessions, I was really tailing off at the end so was running somewhere between 300 and 350m. After the session I did an extra lap of the green before going home, still trying to up the mileage but its tough.

Running ('warm up') 7:20 [3] 2.5 km (2:56 / km)

Was supposed to be jogging down to the track as a warm up but was running late and had a glorious tail wind. Think I may have got a bit carried away as my watch apparently recorded the fastest 1km and fastest 1mile ever. good warm up pace...

Track (#wetwednesdays) 1:15:00 [2] 8.8 km (8:31 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

Session today was 3x(3x300m) on a 2.30 interval. It wasn't the hardest of sessions but it was really good quality, running between 49s and 53s. Definitely was feeling tired today though so will be needing a recovery week soon.

Hill Reps (10med) 30:00 [2] 3.5 km (8:34 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

10 medium hill reps. A slight increase on last weeks 8. It was a not bad day for it and I felt like my style was pretty decent. Just need to keep digging in.

Intervals (10x400m) 1:30:00 [2] 8.3 km (10:51 / km)
shoes: Mizuno 4ic

Started off running 73s but slowly brought it down to 70s. I'm pretty happy with that because that's about the same pace I was running at the end of the teach season last year. I'm still just trying to slowly increase my millage and intensity right now. My legs are still holding up not bad.
