World Cup Long/Chasing start
A fairly chilled race just enjoying it because exam on tuesday so didnt want to knacker myself out(still plenty of revision to do!). Still had some fun bits of racing but was actually alone for at least a third of the course. A nice adventure to finish the week :)

World cup Middle
An alright run, would be happier with a more solid first control. Went straight and decided I would relocate but struggled to find my place on the hill so headed generally towards the path, went along then missed in the circle too. Just wished I'd attacked this leg a bit more and less faffing about early on, or taken the path route around the right in the beginning. Next couple of controls fairly hesitant then found a bit more flow from 4 onwards. Still some more hesitations and misses but generally happy with the latter half of the course.
58th, +7:57. Looking forward to chase start tomorrow :)

Biggest race of the week - super ultra mine sprint with headtorch and helmet. 3rd place so a bonus 50euros!!

Not too much trouble picking routes and nav okay, just some hesitations and almost went 15-17 but realised with not too much time lost. Generally feeling quite tired and lacking speed but having a big nap this afternoon to sort me out

WC sprint final
Not really prepared for how many wiggly routechoices there were going to be and didnt take the best routes on a lot of controls. Couple of mistakes on 8 and 21 each 10s. Feeling like I was running much better than this morning after a good 3hr snooze in the afternoon. Managed to get a good sprint finish in this time!
Not a run I'm proud of but pretty chuffed with 26th in my first senior individual:)

World cup sprint relay turku
First leg, started pretty far back and struggled overtake at all on the run out, narrow steps up hill.spent a lot of first half trying to overtake and my orienteering was a bit shabby. Second part better, just legs feeling heavy
10th overall with Jonny, shminty and charlotte :)
Looking forward to more sprint relays (actually only my 2nd ever sprint relay -not quite as successful as the first one but still good ;) ) good day too with 3rd for our first team wooo!
