Note

Back in California now, after a long drive over the mountains on thursday. It's a good thing I got through then, because it sounds like about 3 and a half feet of snow fell overnight. This storm was certainly impressive in Berkeley! The sound of wind woke me several times during the night. Gusts over 60 mph, and more than 2 inches of rain, seems to be a typical observation in the east bay last night.

It's the furthest I've ever run that direction, so I could really appreciate the scenery this time. It really is a rain forest out there!

Out and back to Waterloo park. I wish I had finished mapping that place. Some nice trail running along the flood levy. Any ideas of doing a loop were swamped by a giant puddle in the trail. Probably the flattest non-track run I've done since moving to cal. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=1518940
'Downtown' Waterloo has a lot of dogs.
