Ended up being ~.17mi each w/ avg paces 5:55-6, except for 1st which was 6:20 b/c I had to turn around at the end of the cul de sac and 5:43 for the last one.

Good one in sun and cold-ish. Ran it on a just steeper than flalse flt w/ a bump at the end. Shorts felt awesome. Going to try to follow Hudson HM plan to prep for trail HM 4/28. Bailing on BTR 30k b/c of possible trip east.

Big sleep but woke a few times. Lower back super stiff from vert increase and whipping on the route multiple times yesterday. 600mg ibu and stretching a lot.

Going to try a jog, then gym sesh. Out of training mode apparently. Just trying to stay in some sort of shape and not totally go crazy. Last year of grad school. Get er done.

3 gus, 16oz water. Good one from church BST to CC w/ some jogging on some horse trails I'd not been on. Xterra simulator w/ 2 big climbs, incl 1000' b/t mi 6.5-9.3. I was able to turn the legs over late too. So, nice one. Psyched to run on some proper dirt after the slush fiasco 2 weeks ago.

The goal is to actually put together a solid run week next week. Make it happen.

Mostly mod to too hard effort in cool, gray conditions. mi8-10.11 in 20:18 (6:24 aided, 6:43, 6:34, 37sec) so unplanned 5k tempo after rolling mi 8 down a long hill. On the way home did 4x 100 hard/ 100 jog at the track to hit 12mi in 90min, then cool down jog to home. Good run, esp after waking not feeling too psyched to run today.

Rest now, do homework.
