Castleisland direction, turned at quarry, then back into Tralee and home via the Fat Mile around the north side of Tralee.
After pain last two evenings running had to try the alternative this evening. Put steps in play this morning to go cycling and the weather was fine. Got through town and then onto the main road I cycled hard for a km or so. Really felt it, body not used to cycling. Got a good rhythm going after roundabout but not that good after I turned, tried but felt like a really strong headwind. Don't think it was my imagination, even though the trees weren't moving, maybe just felt stronger than it was due to cold! Feet really started to hurt from cold near the end. Was starting to get dark when I finished so I timed it nicely.
Took a lap time from the roundabout and then again when I got back to here. More realistic of pace as going through town means stopping and starting.
Did 21.21km, 42.09 time, avg. speed 30.2km/h, avg HR 153
