INTERLAND 2011 ;D
was abit nervous leading up to the race but once i started warming up and getting ready i was completly fine! was a very nice area reminded me of british schools last year fast running and hilly but this was alot more hilly :D was a really phsyical which i loved, fast and hilly.
had a really good race was running fast but not flat out as i wanted to keep good contact on the map which a did for the whole race. got 1 fine then there was a massive 1.5kish leg which you was over this massive hill so i climbed straight over but planned to get 2/3 up and conrour round but went up this path and straight over the top and down the valley and along this path, took me about 9minutes mad good time on that leg on alot of people :D spiked 3, slighly messed 4 up was in the 2nd retrent but the first had a split in the stream which was not on the map which confussed me :/ but worked it out in about 20 seconds and got the control probally plus 30 seconds. nailed 5. 6 was another long way round or massive climb went for the massive climb, was going well and got up the hill realy quick but when deceneding the over side i crossed the path which i expected to but then the over one i expected to but the first one was very small and thought could have been a unmarked ride and the 2nd path be the first one so took it easy as i didnt want to overshoot and end up to low with loads of extra climb plus 30 secs there maybe more. caught this belguim up at 8 but then he speeded up when he saw me so was racing with him for couple of controls then managed to get away but messed up 14 by 20 seconds so he got near me again but i got away to 15, 16 was fine. 17, i went of at the wrong angle so added about an extra 30 seconds on. this was all uphill and ver steep but flew up it :D overall good run with about 2-3 minutes of mistakes. had the same time as tristan bloeman who's ran at eyoc and is a year older than me. was =2nd overall, much better than a faught and bet zac and matt by 5 minutes :D
