Went to see Liz, she stuck some pins in me and added some bruises so I feel much better now. Should be good for Teva at this rate :-)

Ride in, got in a pace line up the freeway that kept the speed near 40. butt was there, but not really complaining.
5 PM

Reset the bike computer after I got out of the parking lot so I figured I should go for a fast time.

Pushed hard down the freeway into a gentle headwind then had a few people to pick off along the southern river. I swapped the bike computer to average time as I was heading towards Marmion and started the hill with it reading 30.6, it dropped to 30.3 by the top then sat there almost all the way home. getting checked at the last stop sign dropped it to 30.2 then stopping to get the mail put it at 30.1.

First (or possibly second) time I have beat the 30 on the way home. The crowd went wild.

Just rode the short course, last starter after sitting on admin.

Went out gently just to see how I went, glute was a little uncomfortable after the 3rd control but as I picked the pace up it didn't get worse. It wasn't comfortable running when I was control collecting later on.

won the short course but decided not to submit a time for the final split. and then regretted that when Tooms won it.

At last we have a 4th for caffeinated again, and then a 5th. And quickly back to 4 again. there is a lot to be said for solo races.

forgot my watch so had a guess.

A bit chilly out so I went out fairly solidly till a bit past the turn around when by butt started hurting. going in to see Liz again tomorrow but not happy about this with the race season getting real close.
