Orienteering (NSW long champs) 36:21 [3] 4.2 km (8:39 / km) +100m 7:44 / km

Really happy with today! I loved it and i felt like i was going fastish and was more flowing. I didn't stop as much as usual and only made a tiny mistake or two. :D

Orienteering race (NSW Middle Champs) 34:37 [4] 2.9 km (11:56 / km) +115m 9:58 / km

It started off good but then i saw other people on my course and i think that put me off. So then i was just not flowing and i stuffed up a control. I thought i had gone too far because i thought i saw a bend in the power lines but really i hadn't gone far enough so i went back heaps far when i didn't need too. But i enjoyed it still.

Running 24:09 [3]

Mum and i put some circles on an ashtonfield street map and took it in turns to navigate to one. It was really fun. I felt like we were running faster too and i wasn't concentrating on that which was good. I think i shouls do stuff like that more often. :)

Was an alright class. I sort of had trouble concentrating, not sure why. I seemed to work harder toward the end, my legs were burning!

I AM SO WEAK!! My arms hurt, and when we were doing sit-ups after and we had to reach around to our feet, my arms were shaking and i could not stop them! But i feel good for doing it.

Mum and i went for a run. Started of just ok but got better. Weren't too many bugs today, thank goodness! My legs were actually hurting a bit today, not too much though.

Orienteering race 53:21 [3] 2.4 km (22:14 / km)

New map, "Dark Hill"
I made a mistake on control three. I just went into the circle not positive on exactly where i was so i stuffed around there for a bit. On the rest it was just hard to go fast because it was steep, rocky and thick. It was frustrating. But towards the end i was moving a bit faster, i liked that bit the most :)

Oh and it took me a whole 3minutes to mark my map because the girl infront of me hadn't finished when it was my turn so i had to wait for her.

Went for a bike ride because i finally got a new tube for my flat tyre :D I had planned to go around the track more than what i did but the bugd were so bad so i pretty much just ended up doing cirles around a few streets. The bugs were so bad i had to stop and shake them out of my top! I HATE THEM!

I felt like doing a bit of core stuff when i got back from the ride. It hurt. I'm happy i did :)

Did a stretch after everything. I should stretch more often.

Warm-up down to the flat bit and along it a bit. And then warm-down down there.

Mum and i did 5 fast run throughs down on the flat street down the bottom. I got really exhausted but i wanted to do them. I wanted to work hard :)

I HATE THOSE INVISIBLE BUGS!

After we had finished we did a bit of running to get home. Up two hills! lol

Dad and i ran out at Walka together. We pushed harder along the wall and up one of the hills. I got a bit tired. Dad got annoying to run with at some points, he wouldn't tell me how long we had been going for because we were 'floating' ???? :S
But it was good for me

John wasn't there so the girl that took one last week took it. I didn't mind it, i just felt like i was off in my world again a few times. But i did work hard, especially in one of the hill tracks.

Mum and i went again, it was a diferent girl that took it today. She wasn't so bad actually, i didn't mind her. :)

Gym (Body Blitz class) 55:00 [3]

This was the weights class again, and it hurt! I think i possibly am getting stronger, but my arms were still shaking during the class. The girl that took it is good, il like her :)

Running (Run with mum.) 21:23 [3]

Mum convinced me to go for a run, she was nearly out the door and i went tog et ready because i felt super bad. It was a run to loosen our legs a bit. They still hurt, it's mostly my calf muscles.

Elly, i was wondering if you know how i can stretch the side of my quad? I tried doing the nowmal quad stretch but it doesn't really stretch in the right spot. I thought i'd ask you because you seem to be a pro with stretches! :)

Running race (City 2 Surf) 1:13:44 [5] 14.0 km (5:16 / km)

Preeety happy with this. I wanted to beat 75 and according to mums watch, i did! :D I got tired during it at points, and walked sometimes, but i don't care, i made it :) From 6km onwards i had two numb feet which was really annoying to run with, i couldn't feel either of them at all. And i think thats why my calf muscle hurts now because i could've been running funny on my feet without knowing. Well done to everyong too!! :)

Mum and i ran on the treadmil untill we reached 3and a half kilometres. Running on the treadmill seems to take ages for me because i always end up looking at how long i have been going. Music was good :)

We then went on these other bikes at the gym. It was pretty uncomfortable i thought, i have decided i don't like those bikes because it rests back and doesn't seem like you're doing much because it never feels like you're on a bike. Music was still good though :)

Just an alright run, i enjoyed it but it was just frustrating. The girl that finished behind me kept on running just infront so i would have to run all the way around her again. And i nearly got tripped over because some girl tried to come on the inside of me and clearly there was no room. But it was a good day though.

Was a tough class like it usually is on mondays. Legs were a little bit stiff but warmed up good and i got really exhausted, expecially on the last track!

Park Orienteering race (Long Course) 32:58 [3] 4.0 km (8:15 / km)

Liked this except for the legs that were just running heaps, because i got really tired and felt really slow. I made a little mistake at the start because it was hard to adjust to the map i thought and it seemed like there were so many more tracks on the ground than there were on the map. And then i made a mistake going to number 14 because i just thought i was at the intersection ahead of the one i was actually at. It was really good fun though :)

Park Orienteering race (Medium Course) 19:24 [3] 2.7 km (7:11 / km)

I wasn't super keen on going out again, but it was really enjoyable i thought because there were heaps more controls in the track area which i liked. I didn't make any mistakes which was good, and even though i said i was just going to go really easy, i still tried pretty hard :)
