Running long 1:38:36 [3] * 19.0 km (5:11 / km)

long run around the thornton street o map with josh b. pretty intense, nice and cool, but wind was a bit annoying. pretty chill, although pretty sure i lost the sprint in the 80th minute. dropped off a bit i thought after that.
feeling not too bad right now, but my butt muscles are really sore from hills and the long run. thats never happened before. interesting.

Stretching (warm down) 10:00 [1]

thought that seeing as all i do for warm down is stretch i should make an activity type for it. mad cold in the wind so i stretched at home.

Running warm up/down 25:00 [3]

running around the park for warm up and down, plus some runthroughs and other stuff.

Running hills 37:00 [5] 4.95 km (7:28 / km)

hills at king edward park with josh b. pretty fun, awesome breeze when running down the hill. pretty intense though, did 7 of each hill. times for hill no 1 were
36, 35, 36, 35, 36, 35, 34
then a rest. saw steve riding up the hill.
then the shorter less steep hill. times were
19, 18, 18, 19, 19, 19, 16.
gunned the last one. the only bad thing was the dogs that got in our way while the owners just watched, and perhaps the bagpipes at the top of the hill practising because there was something on down the bottom of the park.

Running (going places) 15:00 [3]

running from dads house to king edward and back. faster on way home because i was going to miss my train.

Running (Stretching) 7:00 [1]

stretches after with josh except i missed the last couple because i had to get going.

Swimming (laps) 45:00 [3] 1.05 km (42:51 / km)

went to the forum at the uni after school to swim some laps. fair few people swimming, and i'm not fantastically fast nor good either. had to stop several times at the end of laps to let faster people finish their lap, because there was about 5 in my lane. did 21 laps, alternating between 2 freestyle and 2 breaststroke. they are about the only strokes i can do and sadly breaststroke is my best, because my freestyle is hopeless. its still faster but i prefer breaststroke. good fun, but i may need to invest in goggles, because my eyes are killing me!

Orienteering race (Summer Street Series #6) 47:20 [5] * 10.4 km (4:33 / km)

gah pretty average run. felt good early but died late. had some sausages befor i left and they were sitting really badly in my stomach, in fact they were sitting in my mouth when i finished. just found it difficult to get moving. also as most people there noticed, i got a haircut. and i actually forgot about it until i got back and people were looking at me funny. ah well it was heaps better because its short now, no more air resistance. anyway i went
1A 1B 3A 2A 1N 1M 3F 2E 3G 1R 1T 2F 3D 1Q 2H 1P 3C 1L 1D 1E 2C 1F 1G 1H 2D 1J 1K 3B 1C 2B finish 49 - 3 = 46.
yes i was late once again. but looking back i reckon i shouldn't have gone to 1R. it was a fair way for one point and it cost me big in the end.

lame warm up. ran to car and back a couple of times. wasn't very effective

Running 30:46 [2] 4.4 km (7:00 / km)

run with my step dad marty. took it nice and slow, was a good warm up for me, even if it did take a while. marty hasn't run in a while, so the times when i run with him should improve.

Running 17:07 [5] 4.4 km (3:53 / km)

same run except by myself. got wet the whole time as it just was soaking rain for the whole time. and its going to be like that for a couple of days too. :( i can't say i enjoy running in the rain.

Swimming 20:00 [3]

went to the pool after lunch cause my old slr class was there and i joined in on their lesson. swam a couple of laps, treaded water for heaps long.

didn't run today cause i was tired as in sleepy tired. but think i might like to get to the pool more often.

meh took it slow. was nice and cool again. little bit sore but its all good. not much else to say.
